Edinburg– Rogelio Mendez, 48, went to be with the Lord Thursday, September 23, 2021 at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen, Texas.  Mr. Mendez was born on February 11, 1973 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Manuel Mendez and Maria Irene Reyes.

Mr. Mendez is survived by his loving Wife; Maria De Los Santos Mendez, Children, Nora Elia (Oscar) Zamarron, Ruben Mendez, Rogelio Mendez, Margarita (Rodrigo) Flores, Milagros (Luis) Marquez, 8 grandchildren, parents, Manuel and Maria Irene Mendez, siblings, Juan Manuel Mendez, Laura Mendez, Angel Mendez, Marily Mendez, Juan Gabriel Mendez, and Analy Mendez.

Family will receive family and friends on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 2:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with a Service at 6:30 pm at Eternal Light Funeral Home, 201 North Broadway in Elsa, Texas. Chapel Service will be Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at 201 North Broadway in Elsa, Texas. Interment will follow to Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, Texas.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, Texas.
