Elsa- Mr. Rolando Salinas, 67, entered eternal rest on March 2, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his family.
Mr. Rolando was born on November 3, 1958 to Eradio and Rebecca Salinas in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Mr. Rolando was known by all who had the privilege of knowing him as a helpful and reliable man—someone you could always count on. Rolando was always ready to offer a helping hand, a word of advice, or just simply his steady presence, he showed up wholeheartedly. His meticulous nature reflected the pride he took in everything he did, always striving to do things the right way and with care.
Mr. Rolando Salinas carried a wonderful sense of humor that brightened even the most ordinary days. Rolando had a natural gift for making others smile, and his laughter was a comfort to those around him. Beneath his lighthearted spirit was a man with a truly big heart—generous, compassionate, and deeply devoted to the people he loved.
Above all, Rolando was family-oriented. His greatest joy came from being with his children and grandchildren. Mr. Rolando Salinas was a great grandfather and loved being surrounded by his grandchildren. Rolando believed in the importance of family and always being there for those big and small moments. His actions of helping each other was something that he demonstrated daily through his love, guidance and steadfast support.
Mr. Rolando Salinas is survived by his children; Rolando Salinas, Rebecca Salinas, Laurie Flores, siblings; Edna Sáenz, Hilda Hensia, Susana García, Cynthia Estevanes, Ronaldo Salinas, Ruth Salinas, grandchildren; Marco Garza, Kayce Garza, Bailey Alvarez, Neveah Flores, and Ruben Alvarez. Mr. Rolando Salinas is preceded in death by his parents; Eradio and Rebecca Salinas, siblings; Eradio Salinas, David Salinas, and Nelda Mae Salinas.
Mr. Rolando Salinas family would like to invite all family and friends to his visitation on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Service at 5:30 p.m. Mr. Rolando Salinas will be cremated at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
