Rosa M. Gonzalez

Edinburg – Rosa M. Gonzalez, 64, passed away peacefully Monday, July 20, 2020 at Rio Grande Regional in McAllen, Texas. Mrs. Gonzalez was born December 6, 1955 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon to Fransisco Torres and Consuelo Torres Riojas. Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by her loving husband, Anastacio “Tacho” Gonzalez, son, Oscar (Lupita) Gonzalez, daughters, Rosa Gonzalez, Elena (Jorge) Gallegos, 9 grandchildren, brothers, Francisco (Belen) Torres, Gerardo (Leticia) Torres, Ruben Torres, Ezequiel Torres, Antonio Torres, Guadalupe Torres, sisters, Leticia Torres, Isabel Torres, and Patricia Torres. She is preceded in death by her mother, Consuelo Torres, brother, Jose Luis Torres, and sister, Juana Barron Garza.

Visitation for Mrs. Gonzalez will be July 24, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home Chapel in Elsa, Texas.

Visitation will continue Saturday, July 15, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, Texas.
