Edinburg, Texas – Rosa Lopez Alviar, 70, went to be with Lord Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Rio Grande Regional in McAllen, Texas. Mrs. Lopez was born on August 02, 1951 in San Benito, Texas to Camilo Alviar and Martha Revilla.

Mrs. Lopez is survived by her loving Husband, Juan De Dios Lopez, her daughter Veronica Lopez (Manuel), her sons; Omar Lopez, Esequiel Lopez, Esau Lopez (Amy), as well as her brothers, Jose Luis Alviar, Camilio Alviar, her sister, Cristina Alviar, and nine grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Camilo Alviar and Martha Revilla, her sister Carmela Alviar, as well as his brother, Jesus Alviar. The family would like to invite Rosa Lopez’s family and friends to join them for a viewing on Thursday, March 03, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m.at Eternal Light Funeral Home 201 North Broadway in Elsa, Texas. On Friday, March 04, 2022 we will be hosting a Chapel Service at 8:00 a.m. also here at Eternal Light Funeral Home in Elsa, Texas. Interment will follow to Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, Texas.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
