Samuel Marquez

La Villa – Samuel Marquez, 87, went to be with the Lord Friday, December 29, 2023 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance of Edinburg. Mr. Marquez was born August 12, 1936 in El Plateado, Zacatecas, Mx. to Aurelio Marquez and Herlinda Avila. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother Guadalupe Marquez. Mr. Marquez is survived by his loving wife , Estela Marquez, children, Samuel Marquez, Maricela Marquez, Misael Marquez, Linda Marquez, Omar Marquez, 21 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and also, siblings, Rebecca Marquez, Oteniel Marquez, Aurelio Marquez, Jesus Marquez, and Rosalinda Marquez.

The family would like to invite Mr. Marquez family and friends to join them for a viewing on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from to 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home 201 North Broadway in Elsa, Texas.

Mr. Marquez will be buried at a later date in Tuxcueca, Jalisco, Mx.
