Edcouch– San Juana Contreras Jasso, 51, went to be with the Lord Sunday, May 9, 2021 at her residence in Edcouch, Texas. Mrs. Contreras Jasso was born on November 20, 1969 in Dr. Arroyo, N.L., Mexico to Manuel Contreras and Juana Jasso.

Mrs. Contreras Jasso is survived by her loving husband; Roberto Esquivel, children; Osiel (Vanessa) Esquivel, Alma (Conrado Hernandez) Esquivel, Mariela Esquivel, Sofia Esquivel, grandchildren; Shy Esquivel, Analy Hernandez, Jolene Hernandez, Angel Andrade, mother; Juana Jasso, siblings; Belin Mendez, Aurelia Morales, Lilia Contreras, Francisca Contreras, Benny Contreras and Manuel Contreras.

Family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home 201 North Broadway in Elsa, Texas. Chapel service will be Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 10:00 am at Eternal Light Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
