Monte Alto – Susie Anzaldua, 62, went to be with the Lord Friday, May 14, 2021 in Edinburg Regional Hospital in Edinburg, Texas. Ms. Anzaldua was born on May 29, 1958 in Edinburg, Texas to Jose Francisco Anzaldua† and Maria Perez. She is preceded in death by her father.

 Ms. Anzaldua is survived by her loving children; Brenda Cavazos, Melinda (Nathan) Colon, Francisco A. Cavazos Jr., grandchildren; Giada Alegria, Ava Colon, Aiden Colon, James Austin Cavazos, mother; Maria Anzaldua, siblings; Jenoveva Gorostiza, Olivia Lopez, Martha Anzaldua, Norma Perez, Amanda Martinez, Ricardo Anzaldua, Arnolfo Anzaldua, Oscar Anzaldua, Francisco Anzaldua, Ruben Anzaldua and Jose Luis Anzaldua.

Family will receive family and friends on Friday, May 21, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home 201 North Broadway in Elsa, Texas. Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 10:00 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa, Texas. Interment will follow at Valle de La Paz Cemetery in Hargill, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
