Elsa – Teodora Alviar Bernal, 73 passed away Tuesday, April 07, 2020 at her residence in Elsa, Texas. Mrs. Alviar was born April 01, 1947 in Reynosa Tamaulipas, Mexico to Salome Bernal and Trinidad Balderas. She preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Alviar and brothers, Pedro Bernal and Raul Bernal. Mrs. Alviar is survived by her loving  Children, Enedelia (Jose s.) Cruz, Griselda Pineda, Roy Rodriguez, Miguel Angel (Teresa) Rodriguez, Gisela Rodriguez Bernal, Grandchildren, Elizabeth Jade Cruz, Daizee Reyna, Karen Rodriguez, Javier Rodriguez and Lisa Maria Rodriguez, Siblings, Ramona Bernal, Agustin Bernal, Salomon Jimenez and Guadalupe Jimenez.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 10, 2020 from 1:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Eternal Light Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Elsa, Texas. Chapel Service will be held Saturday, April 11, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at Eternal Light Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Elsa, Texas. Interment will follow to City of Weslaco Cemetery in Weslaco, Texas.
