Valentin M. Casillas

Elsa, Texas –Valentin M. Casillas went to be with the Lord on Saturday October 29, 2022 at Colonial Manor Pharr, Texas at the age of 88. Mr. Casillas was born on February 14, 1934 in Torrington, Wyoming to Jose Casillas and Maria M. Madrid.

Mr. Casillas is survived by his children; Juanita Casillas, Alicia Casillas (Ignacio Balderas), Valentin Casillas Jr (Margarita), Javier Casillas (Norma), Tomas Casillas (Lucy), Celia Rodolfo (Rudy), Angel Casillas (Veronica). Mr. Casillas also leaves his 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, along with his brother Jose Casillas. Mr. Casillas is preceded in death by his parents as well as his Wife, Maria De Jesus Casillas Daughter, Maria C. Martinez, Sons, Juan Jose Casillas, Ramiro Casillas and Siblings Paula Casillas, Tomas Casillas, Anita Casillas.

The family would like to invite Mr. Casillas’s friends and family to a wake in his honor on Tuesday, November 01, 2022 at Eternal Light Funeral Home located in Elsa, Texas from 4:00 pm. until 9:00 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. service. Mr. Casillas will be cremated at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, Texas.
