Veronica Lara

Edinburg – Veronica Lara, 44, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Edinburg Regional Hospital in Edinburg, Texas. Mrs. Lara was born on February 3, 1977 in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Luciano Lara and Gloria Cazares.  She is preceded in death by her father and brother; Julio Cesar Lara.

Mrs. Lara is survived by her loving husband; Carlos Alberto Noriega, children; Yahaira Lara (Carlo Montalvo), Viridiana Reyna (Ismael Lopez), Yatziri Reyna, Carlos Noriega Jr., grandchildren; Yahir Silva, Carlo Montalvo Jr., Julian Montalvo, Dailan Luna, mother; Gloria Cazares, siblings; Jorge Lara, Juan Lara, Carlos Lara and Nadia Oceguera. Family will receive family and friends on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m.  at Eternal Light Funeral Home 201 North Broadway in Elsa, Texas. Mrs. Veronica Lara will be cremated at a later date and will be buried June 12, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna Texas.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, Texas.
